The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the final selection list for 5 posts of Junior Environmental Engineer in the UT cadre. These posts were advertised vide notification no. 03 of 2021 dated 04.06.2021 under item no. 557.

Recruitment Process:
JKSSB conducted an OMR based written exam for the posts. Based on the performance in the exam, result/score sheet was published and candidates in the consideration zone were called for document verification.
The selection committee as per order no. 03-SSB of 2024 dated 03.01.2024 prepared the provisional list which was notified for objections from candidates.
In the 256th board meeting on 23.01.2024, the final selection list was approved. This was notified vide no. 10-Selection of 2024 dated 24 January 2024 under endorsement no. JKSSB- SDOSECY(JMU)/4/2024-03(E-7381434).

Important Points:
- Selection subject to outcome of any pending court cases.
- Appointing authority responsible for document verification.
- Selection liable to cancellation if false info submitted.
- Candidates must submit PVR within 21 days else forego right to appointment.
