Jammu, November 22, 2024 – The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially released Advertisement Notification No. 02 of 2024, inviting applications for 669 Sub-Inspector posts in the J&K Police, Home Department. The recruitment process is being conducted to fill vacancies under direct recruitment as per the indent received from the Home Department.Key Dates:Start Date for Online Applications: December 3, 2024Last Date for Submission: January 2, 2025
Eligibility Criteria:Domicile: Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid domicile certificate as of January 2, 2025.Age Limit:- General (Open Merit) and Reserved Categories: 18 to 28 years (Born between January 1, 1996, and January 1, 2006).In-Service Police Personnel: 18 to 30 years (Born between January 1, 1994, and January 1, 2006).Ex-Servicemen: Eligible with additional relaxation of service period + 3 years.
