Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024-25: Empowering Meritorious Girl Students

The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024-25 is a prestigious initiative under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project on Education & Livelihood by Kotak Mahindra Group Companies. Administered by the Kotak Education Foundation, the scholarship aims to support and empower meritorious girl students from economically disadvantaged families, enabling them to pursue professional education after Class 12.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2024-25, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Academic Excellence: Applicants must have secured 75% or more marks (or equivalent CGPA) in their Class 12 board examinations.
2. Financial Need: The applicant’s annual family income should be less than INR 6,00,000.
3. Admission to Reputable Institutions: Applicants must have secured admission in the first year of graduation for professional courses such as Engineering, MBBS, BDS, Integrated LLB (5 years), B.Sc. Nursing, B. Pharmacy, or Integrated BS-MS/BS-Research at recognized institutions like NIRF/NAAC accredited institutes, ISER, IISc (Bangalore), or other professional courses (Design, Architecture, etc.).
4. Open to Students Across India: The scholarship is open to meritorious girl students from all regions of India.

Scholarship Benefits:

Selected scholars will receive financial assistance of up to INR 1.5 lakh per year to cover tuition fees, accommodation, and other academic expenses.

Note: The renewal of the scholarship is subject to the sole discretion of the Kotak Education Foundation and will depend on the academic performance and continuation of the course by the student.
