Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI), Srinagar – Undergraduate Scholarship 2024-2025
The Kashmir Education Initiative (KEI), a non-profit, non-political, and charitable organization based in Srinagar, invites applications for its Undergraduate Scholarship Program for the academic year 2024-2025. This scholarship supports students from the Kashmir province who have secured admission in professional degree courses across various fields, including Engineering, Medical, and Agriculture, in recognized institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Residency: Must be residents of the Kashmir province.
2. Academic Performance: Must have scored at least 70% marks in both 10th and 12th grades.
3. Admission: Should have secured admission in the first year of their degree program for 2024 through open merit in any of the approved courses (e.g., B.Tech, MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Agriculture).
4. Entrance Exams: Must have qualified through competitive exams such as NEET, JEE, or UET.
5. Income Criteria: The total annual household income should not exceed INR 3,00,000, verified through official documentation.
Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents along with the application:
Academic Records: Scanned copies of 10th and 12th-grade marks certificates and the rank/score obtained in entrance exams (NEET, JEE, or UET).
Admission Proof: Documentation verifying admission to a recognized institution in one of the eligible courses.
Income Proof: Proof of household income issued by a Tehsildar or a Gazetted officer.
Muskaan Scholarship Program 2024: Up to Rs 12,000 for Students of Classes 9 to 12
