The railway authorities have announced a revised train timetable for the route connecting Sangaldan and Baramulla stations, effective from April 1st, 2024. This updated schedule aims to provide more convenient travel options and improve connectivity across multiple stations along the route.
According to the new timetable, commuters can expect more frequent train services, with additional stops at several key stations. The first train from Sangaldan will depart at 06:50, reaching Baramulla at 01:55. Similarly, the inaugural service from Baramulla to Sangaldan will commence at 07:00, arriving at the final destination by 01:02.
One of the notable changes is the introduction of a direct train service labeled “SPL” from Baramulla, departing at 08:00 and reaching its destination at an unspecified time. This addition is expected to cater to the increasing demand for direct connectivity between the two terminal stations.
