There are 855 positions available for junior engineers in the civil sector, and the government of Jammu and Kashmir has released a provisional selection list.
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has recently made public the Provisional Selection List for the 855 positions of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Public Works (R&B) Department. This is a recent development. The notification number 06 of 2022, which was issued on November 11th, 2022, was the first step in the recruiting drive.
The following is a breakdown of these positions according to their respective categories:
– OM: 428 – SC: 68 – ST: 86 – OSC: 34 – OM: 428
34 for the ALC/RBA
PSP: 85, EWS: 35 This brings the total to 855.
A three-year diploma in civil engineering from an institution that is recognized, a degree in civil engineering, or an AMIE Section (A&B) from India are the requirements that must be met in order to be eligible for applying for these roles.

On November 19, 2023, the OMR-based Written Examination was carried out, and on December 7, 2023, the result and score sheet were communicated to the candidates. The subsequent procedure of document verification took undertaken between the dates of December 13 and December 29.
